ABFM Slalom Results
Each entrant’s Best Run is in RED. The class placements are in descending order (first, second, third, etc). The trophy winners in class are marked with "*". A number in parenthesis represents penalty seconds for cones and gates missed or cones tossed.
If you were unable to attend the Giant Slalom awards ceremony please email Craig House at cooperbee@worldnet.att.net to receive your trophy in the mail.
First of all, let me apologize to Carol Christensen for doubting her "seat of the pants" assessment that she had turned Top Time of Day. Mia Culpa.
As explained before, only your first two runs qualified for trophy times. This worked out fairly well except for Class 8. If we can figure out some way to guarantee that every competitor will get three runs then we will rethink that system. Right now we’re under such time restraints that full fields (23 cars) aren’t able to get three runs. We only had 18 cars on Saturday and 20 cars on Sunday.
However, we will retain the system whereby if you run both Saturday and Sunday you can only trophy with your fastest day’s runs (case in point Class 2 and Class 8).
