Schedule

This event will be held from September 3rd, 2021, through September 5th, 2020. Starting Friday evening and concluding on Sunday. There will be plenty of fun activities: Meet and Greet Parties, Camping, Vintage Races, Land Rover Adventure rides, and photo competition, vendors, plus over 800 vehicles!

Friday - September 3rd, 2021

  • Noggin and Natter — 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM
    Located at PIR in the Hospitality Tent
    Pick up Packets - Day-of-the-Meet Registrations
    Munchies and MORE! - No-Host Bar

    Pick up pre-registration packets, pre-ordered regalia, and/or registration forms at the cocktail party. Avoid the pressures of on-the-field confirmations or registrations on Saturday. Besides, It's FUN!!!

Saturday - September 4th, 2021

  • Placement of Cars and Bikes on the Field — 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM
  • VINTAGE RACING - Day One - THE COLUMBIA RIVER CLASSIC — 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Guided Walking "Buying a British Car" Tour — 9:00 AM - 10:30 PM
    Paul and Jeff lead a walking tour of the pitch to answer your questions about what to look for in a potential purchase. In short, you've got to know when to hold ‘em, know when to fold ‘em, know when to walk away, and know when to run. Tour begins in front of "The Regalia Tent" promptly at 9:00 AM
  • Scavenger Hunt — 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
    An All British Car scavenger hunt is a wonderful way to help kids open their eyes to the world around them and look at things a little more closely.
  • OFF-ROAD ADVENTURE RIDE - Sponsored By: Pacific Coast Rover Club — 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
    Ride in Land Rovers over specially prepared terrain! Check at the tent in the Land Rover area. $2.00 fee, all proceeds benefit 'Miles from Molly," a children's' charity.
  • British Vehicle Display and Show on the grass. — 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
    People's Choice voting for all classes concludes at 1:00 pm.
  • Arts & Crafts Contest - Sponsored By: Oregon Mini Society — 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
    Bring your favorite photography, Sketches, Paintings, Textiles, 3d dioramas, or any other British-inspired artistic endeavors to the display area by 10 AM. Awards in the main hospitality tent at 3:00 PM. ABFM is not responsible for items that are not picked up by 3:30 PM
  • Slot Car Racing aka "The Oregon Food Bank Challenge" — 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
    Competition by age groups. Proceeds go to charity. 4 Best Times Go. For the Grand Prize! $1.00 a race. Saturday and Sunday the Four Top qualifiers shoot it Out for the Grand Prize! Register at the Slot Car Tent Located in Town Square.
  • Automotive Restoration Walking Tour — 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM
    Paul and Jeff tackle the thorny subject of when and if to restore a British car, and how to do it. This assumes you didn’t go on the 9:00 tour and you have already purchased a car that needs a lot of work. Tour begins in front of "The Regalia Tent" promptly at 10:30 AM.
  • Giant Slalom - Sponsored By: Oregon Mini Society — 11:50 AM - 1:50 PM
    The ABFM Giant Slalom course will be the same as last year. We have plotted the course using the SCCA pit then proceeding into the drag race start area followed by a spin cone in the drag race area as there is plenty of space for the maneuver.
    This course equalizes times and offers a more open course for larger cars.

    Entry space is limited so register early. Registration opens at 10:00 am and closes at 11:15 both days. You must register Saturday for Saturday runs, and Sunday for Sunday runs. There will be NO Sunday registration on Saturday.

    Workers are welcome and we highly recommend joining us for a better view of the event. Why watch from the bleachers when you can be close enough to smell the drivers?... I mean cars! AND, you'll receive a nifty worker T-shirt for your time!

    Trophies awarded to drivers with the best times at 2:45 PM Sunday in the main tent.

    You must be present to collect your award. Awards will not be mailed out.
  • People's Choice Ballots Due — 1:00 PM
  • Arts & Crafts Award Ceremony — 3:00 PM
    Awards in the main hospitality tent at 3:00 PM. ABFM is not responsible for items that are not picked up by 3:30 PM
  • People's Choice Awards — 4:00 PM
    Presented on the field at 4 pm. Check with "Worker Bees" to find where your marque will have the awards presented. Be present to pick up your awards. No awards will be mailed.
    Unique Marques Award Presentation will take place at 4:30 in Town Square.
  • NO HOST BAR — 4:00 PM
    Grab a cold beverage and relax sharing the day's activities in Town Square before our special banquet presentation with John Twist.
  • Peoples Choice Awards Presentation for Unique Marques — 4:30 PM
    Presented in Town Square 4:30 pm. Check with "Worker Bees" to find where your marque will have the awards presented. Be present to pick up your awards. No awards will be mailed.
  • Banquet with Guest Speaker John Twist — 4:45 PM
    In the Hospitality tent. Cocktails at 4:30 pm, dinner at 5:30 pm. Raffle throughout the evening. Pre-order tickets on the registration form.

    Delicious Menu will include :
    Dry rubbed St Louis style pork ribs
    Hard wood smoked beef brisket
    Apple cider brined chicken breast w/ fresh berry BBQ sauce
    “Super Slaw” with Shredded cabbage, Kale and carrots
    BBQ Baked beans
    Mac & Cheese
    Fresh fruit of the season
    Assorted dessert bites

    NOTE: Prior to 4pm, display vehicles only will be allowed to park inside the main gate.

Sunday - September 5th, 2021

  • P.I.R. Gates Open — 8:00 AM
  • Swap Meet Opens — 8:00 AM
  • British Vehicles For Sale — 8:00 AM
    For non-car entrants, a swap meet fee of $35 will be required. 10 x 20 Commercial vendor spaces are $75.
  • VINTAGE RACING - Day Two - THE COLUMBIA RIVER CLASSIC — 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Rally - Organized by the Friends of the ABFM — 9:00 AM
    Who: Adventurous teams of two who want to explore the beauty of the Portland metro area in a British car in a low-stress road rally.

    What: An Observation Rally of about two hours' duration.

    Where: We will meet on the gravel shoulder of the PIR access road just east of Turn 12. Look for the signs and orange cones.

    When: Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. A drivers’ meeting will be held at 9:15 a.m. and the first car will depart shortly afterwards.

    This year’s Observation Rally will take the teams over some roads and through some scenery that you may not have realized exist within the Portland metro area.

    Awards will be presented to the teams who achieve First, Second and Third Place, with trophies awarded to drivers and navigators of British vehicles with the best scores at 2:45 p.m. in the main tent. (You or your representative must be present to collect your trophies as they will not be mailed out.)
